have been experiencing internet security issues from a long time. I am a layman as far as knowledge of computer
& internet security is concerned, for the protection of notebook, I have
installed kaspersky internet security total and time to time, I change the
password of face book and BSNL modem wifi. Despite these protective measures,
when I see my face book account / notebook is compromised, I feel upset.
Ø Many times, I have observed that
I enter correct password to log in face book, the face book account does not
open saying incorrect password. When I enter the same password to log in Second
time/ third time, then it opens.
Ø Another observation is , when I log in face book, generally log in
place shows Hyderabad, India, but sometimes green light of wifi goes red and
when it comes to green again , the login place of face book get changed , login
places shows Mirayalaguda, nalgoda etc
other places of satae but Hyderabad .
Ø When I post any photo or any
status on face book, I remember the time. I have noticed that posting time of
photo differs sometimes. Example- supposes I have posted a photo on Face book at
11.46, sometimes it shows 11.47. If I log out and again log in, sometimes time
get changed, sometimes time remain same.
Ø In Tablet, temperature on Google
page shows sometimes in Fahrenheit, sometimes in Celsius.
Ø For Face book security purpose, I
had activated two-factor authentication to log in Face book. In this process, I
used to receive the six-digit code in my mobile to access my account. First time I had activated in 2016, that time
after someday, I started getting two passwords on my mobile to access the account.
Ironically both the passwords were not working. I was forced to remove this service.
Recently I had again activated this service.
It worked for few days, after that the password I received on mobile was
not working. I tried four–five times, surprisingly I received same password all
the time and it was not working to open the account. I was unable to access my account. Then I used
other option in that I sent my photo with hand written code to get link on my Gmail
account. This time also, I was forced to remove two-factor authentication
process through mobile.
Ø 2012-13, somebody had made face
book account on my name using my email id and added many unknown friends. I
came to know when I started getting notifications on email. I immediately
deleted the account and reported to face book.
These security issues I have been facing online. Besides that, I have been getting many unknown international calls on my mobile, though I have not received any one of them. I have few unusual encounters, when I ponder over those I feel; those were stray incidents or part of something fishy.
It is certain that somebody is breaching the internet security. It is a criminal act. I wonder who could that person be. I have gone through few books on criminology, based on the learning I can say that two kind of person could follow you for long period of time, one who is fearful of any harm from you and another one who is harming / going to harm your personal and professional interests. When I analyze, I feel I am a harmless and innocuous person; nobody on this earth has any reason to feel fearful of me. In second case, it is necessary to inform the police and bring unknown culprits in their notice.
Whenever I experienced any unusual observations on net or mobile, I kept on informing Police /cyber police through face book page, email and whatsapp. I had a feeling that after informing them my problem will be solved, but I was wrong. However, I get relief for few hours or day or two but again I experience the above-mentioned problem. Ineffective system and audacity of culprits makes me sad and helpless .I am feeling unburdened after sharing this on public domain.
One thing I would like to say the culprits, criminals that whatever you do , create troubles for me , in all circumstances I shall be victorious . I have firm faith in my integrity, skills, and almighty. Such cheap tactics to disturb me actually give me more motivation to excel and shine like a star in coming days.
