Rating of facilities offered by training institutions to trainees

The questionnaire was circulated to the trainees of the training centre and they were asked to do rating the facilities provided by the training centre to them. The rating is in scale of 1-5 staring with bad, satisfactory, good, very good to excellent. Trainees were told to do rating of facilities considering the points / description given below under the heading of each facility.

Class Room :-

 Sufficient space to accommodate trainees ,proper sitting arrangements , sufficient space for furniture and teaching aids i.e. chairs , table, white board , ventilation , proper light and temperature ,noiseless surroundings, arrangements of water nearby etc.

Teaching aids and training material :-

Availability of all necessary teaching aids and material , functional condition of audio-visual and other aids, distribution of training materials to trainees etc.

Practical Room:-

Working condition of all practical equipments, sufficient space for trainees and other equipments to conduct practical work, proper light, temperature etc.

Hostel accommodation

Distance of hostel to training centre, availability of adequate water, electricity, light and sanitary arrangements. Recreational facilities, Mess etc.

Recreation Room -

Recreational facilities like television, indoor games, cultural activities etc. Spacious , sufficient light, ventilation, temperature

Bathroom:-

Separate bathroom for male and female, accessibility of bathroom  (lavatory , urinal )  from class room/ laboratory ,  Sufficient number of urinal and toilets, Washbasins, water availability,  cleanliness , hygiene , hand wash soap etc.

Electricity, Light /Electronic equipments :-

Working condition of all electronic equipments available for trainees in training centre etc. Availability of proper lights in training centre and other places. Availability of electricity all time etc.

Water  :-

 Quality of drinking water, availability of water in the training centre and hostel. Sufficient water availability for drinking, bathing, washing clothes all time.

Mess, Food: -

 Availability of sufficient quantity of food, Nutritious and quality food, Taste, sufficient space for sitting arrangements, cleanliness and hygiene. 

Hygiene and sanitary arrangements:-

General cleanliness of the training centre, hostel, mess, bathroom and other places of centre. Sanitary arrangements of the training centre.

First aid box and other safety measures:-

Availability of First-aid kit containing bandages, medicines for minor ailments (like- antacid, antibiotic ointment, antiseptic ointment, insect repellent, anti-allergic tablets , anti-biotic tablets, muscle relaxant ) , instruments like thermometer, tweezers , Bulb syringe etc. fire extinguishers etc.

The responses of the trainees  on facilities provided by the training centre are analyzed and details are given in  tabular form and bar chart in few pages .

Thirty-two (32.66%) trainees feel that classroom is good, forty-three (43.88 %) feel classroom very good and twenty-three (23.46%) feel it excellent.

Fifty-nine (60.21%) trainees say that training aid and training material is good whereas twenty-six (26.53%) trainees and thirteen (13.26) trainees feel that training aid and training material is very good and excellent respectively.

Sixty-one (62.24%) trainees find hostel accommodation good. Twenty-one (21.43%) find hostel very good and ten (10.20%) feel hostel accommodation excellent. Six (6.13%) say hostel accommodation is bad

Sixty-two (63.27%) trainees rate recreation room good. Twenty-seven (27.55%) trainees rate recreation room very good whereas five (5.10%) trainees rate recreation room excellent. Four (4.08%) trainees find recreation room bad.

seventy (71.43 %) trainees rate bathroom good. Seventeen (17.34%) trainees feel that bathroom very good whereas two (2.04%) feel bathroom excellent. Nine (9.19%) trainees rate bathroom bad.

Sixty-six (67.35%) trainees rate hygiene and sanitary arrangements good. Twenty-one (21.43%) trainees rate hygiene and sanitary arrangement very good and ten (10.20%) rate this facility excellent. One (1.02%) feels that hygiene and sanitary arrangement of training centre is bad.

Twenty (20.40%) trainees feel first aid box and other safety measures of the training centre is excellent. Twenty-eight (28.58%) trainees rate this facility very good whereas forty-nine (50%) trainees rate it excellent. One (1.02%) trainee feels this facility bad.
