Social change maker

Whenever I think of life, I wonder why we are on this earth. What is the purpose of existence? What is the role of each one of us in this world? These questions are cliché but every individual ask these to himself one day or some day. Questions become more complex whenever I ponder over it. Whenever I look back, I feel strong dissatisfaction, regret and sadness. I feel I have not done any extraordinary work so that people will remember me. Yeh it’s true that like other average ambitious human being I also want to love people, want to be loved by the people and want to be remembered by the fellow citizen as a good human being who worked tirelessly to uplift the society.

In my opinion the most productive, fertile period of life is 18- 24 years. This is the age group, when an individual’s mind is alert, concentration is high, body is fit and creativity is at zenith. Human history is full of the examples when this age group individual took the lead and changed the thinking of society. Take the example of derozio, at the age of 21; he became the lecturers of Hindu college Calcutta. Through his rational thinking, he inspired a group of student to think independently which played a key role in Bengal renaissance. Bhagat singh was just 23 years old when he was hanged. At the age of 18 Sharat Chandra chattopadhay wrote “devdas” which is a world famous novel. Dharamveer bharti wrote evergreen classic “gunaho ka devta” when he was 22 years old. Above examples shows that even at early stage of youth an individual can become the society change maker.

                                                                                          continue.........for next day...............
