Responses of questionnaire from Passed out Trainees
 
       I.            Age: -

The age group of pass out trainees (now working in different organization) who responded the questionnaire is eighteen to twenty-seven (18-27) years old. There are eighteen (18) respondents who are twenty (20) years and below, out of twenty, eight (8) are male and ten (10) are female. In twenty-five (25) years and below and above twenty (20) years range, thirty-nine (39) responded the questionnaire. Out of thirty-nine (39), sixteen (16) are male and twenty-three (23) are female. There are three (3) respondents, who are above twenty-five years old. Out of three (3), two (2) are female and one (1) is male.  The details of age group is also given in table below :-

    II.            Gender: -

Sixty passed out trainees (now working) who responded the questionnaire, out of sixty, twenty-five (25) are male and thirty-five (35) are female.

 III.            Annual Family Income (excluding the passed out trainees now working):-

The Annual Family Income (excluding the income of passed out trainees now working) of all the passed out trainees is below RS 100,000. Out of sixty passed out trainees, thirty-three passed out trainees’ annual family income is below Rs 50,000. The details of annual family income of passed out trainees are given below :-

IV.            Marital Status:-

Sixty passed out trainees (now working) who responded the questionnaire, out of sixty, two (2) respondents are married and fifty-eight (58) respondents are unmarried.

   V.            Educational qualification: -

Thirteen (13) respondents are tenth pass, twenty-nine (29) are intermediate pass and eighteen (18) are graduates. There is no postgraduate among the respondents. The details of degree, number of respondents and percentage are given below in tabular form.

VI.            Name of the organization where you are working:-

Sixty passed out trainees of the training institution who responded the questionnaire, out of sixty fifty-two are working in the eight organizations of the health sector. Rest eight are either working on other sector like hospitality, insurance etc or working part time under any doctor. The details of organizations and the number of respondents are given below :-

VII.            Work experience (in months until September 2018):-

The work experience of sixty respondents of the questionnaire is ranging from two months to one year. Eight respondents had one-year work experience. Forty-two respondents had the nine-month work experience. Four respondents had six months experience and four respondents had three months work experience.  Two respondents had less than three months work experience. The details of work experience and the number of respondents are also given below in table :-

VIII.            Present salary /Annual income and other benefits from the organization

The salary and other benefits of all the respondents who are working in different organizations are between eight thousands to fourteen thousands. Twenty-nine (29) respondents’ salary is in the range of eight thousands to ten thousand rupees. Thirty-one (31) respondents’ salary is in the range of above ten thousand to fourteen thousand rupees. The average salary of the respondent is around ten thousand rupees. IX.            How is the working condition in the organization?

The responses of the all sixty passed out trainees now working in the different organizations are given below in table and graphic column.

Three (5%) respondents rate their working condition in the organization excellent. Eight (13.34%) respondents and thirty-seven (61.66%) respondents rate their working condition very good and good respectively. Eight (13.34%) respondents feel their working condition in organization satisfactory whereas four (6.66%) respondents feel that working condition in their organization is poor/ unsatisfactory.




   X.            How is your supervisor?  Supportive / encouraging / discouraging / Neutral etc

The respondents rating for supervisor has been classified in four grade – Discouraging, Neutral, Supportive and Encouraging. The responses of passed out trainees are given below in table and graphical column.

Seventeen (28.33%) respondents feel that their supervisor is encouraging.  Thirty-seven (61.67%) respondents find their supervisor supportive. Four (6.67%) respondents feel their supervisor is neutral and two (3.33%) respondents find their supervisor discouraging. 

   


         
          

XI.            Do you accept any assignment given by your supervisors?

Fifty-six (93.33%) accept any assignment by supervisors during working hours. Four (06.67%) trainees do not accept assignments, which are not related to their trade. They communicate their unwillingness to do assignment to supervisors politely.

XII.            How are your co-workers / other staffs? Do they support you or you help them in the time of need?

All (100%) passed out trainees now employees feel that their co-workers / other staffs support them professionally in the time of need.

XIII.            Have you received any appreciation, praise, award or salary raise from the organization?

All (100%) passed out trainees now employees have not received any appreciation letter or any salary raise from the organizations. Nine (15%) employees said that they get praise from the supervisor occasionally.

XIV.            How do you rate your own work? Satisfactory / above average /excellent / unsatisfactory

The rating of own work given by all respondents are given below in table and column.

 Twenty ((33.33%) respondents rate their own work excellent. Seventeen   (28.33%) respondents rate their work very good and twenty-one (35%) respondents rate their work good. Two (3.34%) respondents feel their own work in the organization unsatisfactory.






XV.            Are you able to support your family?

All (100%) passed out trainees now working in different organizations support the family. Twenty-four (40 %) passed out trainees send forty-five to fifty percent (45-50%) of their salary to family every month.

XVI.            What kind of merit / demerit do you see working in health sector?

According to respondents, they feel a sense of pride working in health sector. They become more aware about health related issues, causes and its prevention. They become more concerned about the health of oneself, family and community.

The demerit of health sector is there is always work pressure in the work place. Most of the time, they have to work more than duty hours due to emergency or some other reasons. There are also issues in getting leave from the supervisor/ manager.

XVII.            What is your career plan in next 5-10 years?

Out of sixty respondents, twenty (33.33%) would like to continue work in their respective organization and health sector and see their career growth as supervisor in the organization. Twelve (20%) respondents would like to work for few years and save the money during this period. They would like to start their own business in future. Sixteen (26.67%) respondents are preparing for competitive examination for Government job. If they get through the government job, they will leave the present job and join government service. Four (6.67%) respondents would like to pursue higher study in coming future. Rest eight(13.33%) is planning to learn enough trade skills in five-ten years then they would like to go to their respective place and start working there.

XVIII.            What kind of changes do you see in your life after the training?

The respondents are observing many changes in them after undergoing training and getting a job. According to the respondents, these are the changes they see in their life post training and job: -

 Their English and communication skills improved. After training, they are able to communicate with confidence in-group, public and with stranger. They are able to understand the patients need and know how to comfort them when they are stressed or in the need of help.

They learnt the use of computer and tablet and now comfortable with all types of electronic gadgets too. They watch educational videos, health sector related videos, and competitive examination related videos and news on mobile through internet. They feel they are more informed and confident then earlier.

They learnt the trade related skills that they find useful in the working places. It gives them a sense of pride and self worth.

Before joining the training course, they were unemployed.  After completion of training programme, they are employed, working in the organization and formal sector. They are getting salary every month. The big change they see in their life that they are earning money.

They feel that they have become more responsible to organization and family. They are supporting their family by sending money every month. They are getting respects from elders and younger members of the family.

Working in the organization, they feel they learnt how to handle pressure. They can now handle work pressure better than earlier.

This is the first job for all the respondents. They learnt to adopt in new working environment.

They feel that they have become goal oriented. They have career plan for coming five years and they would like to achieve their respective goal in coming years and become successful.

Feedback of training programme

The passed out trainees were given eleven questions related to training programme and they were told to answer the question on scale of 1-5 like excellent, very good, good, fair, poor -  Full/Very high, A lot /high, some extent , little , very little etc. The responses of trainees of each question is analyzed and represented in table and bar charts.

Thirty-eight (63.33 %) respondents (Who completed training, working in different organization and work experience from two months to one year) rate training programme excellent. Sixteen (26.66%) respondents rate training programme very good and six (10%) respondent’s rate training programme good.

Twenty-eight (46.66%) respondents feel that knowledge of trainers was excellent. Nineteen (31.66%) respondents find that knowledge of trainers was very good whereas eleven (18.33%) respondents feel knowledge of trainers was good. Two (3.33%) respondents feel that knowledge of trainers was fair.

 Thirteen (21.67%) respondents say that the trainers were attentive all the time. Thirty-one (51.67%) respondents say that the trainers were attentive to them a lot. Fourteen (23.33%) respondents say that the trainers were somewhat attentive to them whereas two (3.33%) respondents feel that the trainers were little attentive.

Twenty-one (35%) respondents feel that their understanding of subject improved / increased very high / full extent / Maximum due to the programme.  Nineteen (31.67%) respondents feel that their understanding of subjects increased / improved a lot /high. Eighteen (30%) respondents feel that their understanding of subject improved/ increased some extent whereas two (3.33%) respondents feel that their understanding of subject improved/ increased little.

Fifteen (25%) respondents feel that what soft skills taught to them they learnt completely / maximum / full/ very high. Twenty-eight (46.67%) respondents feel that they developed soft skills a lot/ high. Fourteen (23.33%) respondents feel that they developed soft skills up to some extent. Three (5%) respondents feel that they developed little soft skills through the course.

Seven (11.67%) respondents feel that study material is still very highly useful during the job. Seventeen (28.34%) feel that study material is still highly useful. Twenty-three (38.33%) respondents feel that study material is useful up to some extent during the job. Twelve (20%) respondents feel that practical activities were very highly effective in learning. Twenty-five (41.67%) respondents feel that practical activities were highly effective.
